You are able to apply online for:
- the grant of an aquaculture licence;
- the variation of an aquaculture licence;
- an exemption; and
- the grant of an aquaculture lease.
Before you can start, you will need to request a personal account by following the process described below.
A personal account enables an applicant to:
- submit an application and correspond with us in a workflow-based environment;
- check the status of an application and know its progress at any time; and
- have a better user experience.
If you already hold an online account, you can directly apply online.
To request an online personal account, email us at: aquaculture@dpird.wa.gov.au with the following details:
- name;
- company name;
- email address; and
- contact phone number.
Once your request is received, we will set up your account and you will then be able to apply online.
The Department will begin assessment of your application upon receipt of your electronic application form; however, we will not be able to proceed with the official consideration process until we have received the signature page with the original signatures of all relevant parties.
Additionally, we will not be able to proceed until we receive confirmation that payment has been made (that is, a receipt or internal notification from our Licensing Branch).
Ensure that you familarise yourself with the assessment process and any additional documents you are required to submit.
