Last chance to have your say on helping to protect our aquatic resources

The Biosecurity and Agriculture Management Act 2007 (BAM Act) is one of our most important pieces of legislation and helps protect WA’s aquatic resources and ecosystems.

An independent panel has been reviewing the Act and the public is invited to comment on the opportunities for reform it has identified through the review process.

The Stage 3 public comment period is now open and closes 5pm Friday 30 June 2023.

The review panel has already consulted widely with people, industries and communities around the State.

This is your last chance to be involved before the review panel delivers its final report to the Minister for Agriculture and Food later this year.

For more information and to have your say on the reform opportunities, go to yoursay.dpird.wa.gov.au/bam-act-review-2022
