Head Office relocation

On 8 May our head office is relocating to Gordon Stephenson House, 140 William Street, Perth.

This move will see us co-located with a number of other State Government departments in the city centre.

As part of the move, we will be permanently closing our Perth licensing counter.

However, you will still be able to apply for or renew your recreational or commercial fishing licence in the following ways:

  • Online - you can apply for and renew all fishing licences online. This is the quickest way to receive your licence.

  • At one of our other licensing offices.

For large commercial fishing licence transactions, you will still be able to meet with one of our senior licencing officers at our new premises, but you will need to make an advance appointment. (Please note: we will no longer be accepting cash for this kind of transaction, but we will be equipped with mobile payment systems).

How to find us at 140 William Street

There is no public parking at Gordon Stephenson House and you are encouraged to use public transport. The entrance is next to the Perth Underground train station, and there are buses that stop along William Street, as well as buses that run to and from the Roe Street Bus Station.

If you have a scheduled meeting with us at the new premises, take the public lifts to Level 2 and report to the reception area. This map will show you how to get there.

140 William Street contact details

From 8 May our head office telephone number will be changing to 6551 4444. Other direct telephone numbers for contacts at the new premises will be available soon.

Our head office postal address remains the same – Locked Bag 39, Cloisters Square, Perth, 6850, and there are a number of other ways you can connect with us through email, telephone, social media, apps and e-newsletters.
