The Information above contains the landed and estimated live weight of species recorded in the compulsory catch and fishing effort returns provided by fishers each month. These data include the catch taken as bycatch as well as the targeted catch. These catch data may differ slightly from some of the catch estimates presented for specific fisheries as the latter may include additional data from other source, such as from processors. The landed weight may often differ from the calculated live weight as catch may be processed at sea before landing.
