The Minister for Fisheries released the report ‘Integrated Fisheries Management Allocation Report – Western Rock Lobster Resource June 2006' for a two-month public consultation period, ending Monday 30 April 2007.
This report has been prepared for the Minister's consideration by the Integrated Fisheries Allocation Advisory Committee (IFAAC) and contains the Committee's recommendations regarding each sectors allocation for the western rock lobster resource.
All interested stakeholders are encouraged to engage in this final consultation process so together the best future for all concerned and an agreed position for the future long-term management of the western rock lobster resource can be achieved.
