Stuart Blight

​Mr Stuart Blight has 40 years of experience in the field of fisheries science.

He has worked in all areas of Fisheries research, including the Australian Fisheries Zone, deep water trawling, monitoring of foreign fishing boats, rock lobster, salmon, herring and pilchard fisheries, recreational fisheries, stock assessment and data analysis, and research and development.

Mr Blight currently provides specialist research and development to all sections in relation to remote sensing, imaging and data gathering systems. He also manages staff involved in field surveys for the Stock Assessment and Data Analysis (SADA) branch.

He maintains development and research systems, the Apple Mac network and remote monitoring systems.
