Carolyn Jenour

​Carolyn Jenour completed her degree at the University of Western Australia in 2003. Her honors project focused on the behavioural interactions between the two types of marron found in WA - hairy marron (Cherax tenuimanus) and smooth marron (Cherax cainii).

Ms Jenour has over ten years’ experience within the natural resource management field. In her role as Coastal and Marine Program Manager, she managed and implemented eleven strategic coastal and marine projects over a four year period. 

Her current role focuses on stakeholder engagement and communications. She is engaged in the development of projects that support departmental priorities and creating networks with local government, community groups and universities to enhance the State’s freshwater ecosystems.
